I was reading a book today in which a character described clouds as being lakes floating around the sky. It sounds lovely and dreamy, these wispy bodies of water languidly drifting through the heavens, doesn't it?

Well, someone grabbed ahold of that lake bottom in the sky and ripped it wide open this afternoon, and it poured.

To whomever rode this bike to the train station this morning - you will have one of those puddle-created nasty wet stripes up your back by the time you pull into your driveway. I'm so sorry. But your bike did look kinda pretty waiting for you in the rain.
