Investing in storm shutters is well worth the expense when you live on the coastline. These houses in Sandhills were seeing a bit of spray at high tide yesterday afternoon. There's a little storm spinning around off the coast and a full moon making the tide rise onto its tiptoes...

ReplyDeleteThis is dramatic! We live about a mile from salt water and find it hard to keep our windows clean from salty fogs and wind. This looks like quite a drenching. It's a little too close for comfort.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't live that close to the water - my hat is off to those who do revel in it, but I would have a nervous breakdown every time a serious storm rolled in!
