Shelter Sunday: Polliwog

I’m rolling out a new regular feature here on Scituate Daily Photo – Shelter Sunday.

I have been volunteering at the Scituate Animal Shelter for a few years and take pictures of the adoptable cats for their website. It’s a nice way to give something back and I’m proud to be a volunteer with such a wonderful organization.

Let’s start things off with Polliwog, a shy black kitten who needs a patient friend. Polli’s start in life was a little rough – born outside to a feral mother – but she’s going to reward her adoptive family with loyalty and love. I’ve spent time with this kitten and let me tell you, she snuggles and purrs like nobody’s business once she’s assured that you really do want to be her friend.
