Until I saw the sea
I did not know
that wind
could wrinkle water so.
I never knew
that sun
could splinter a whole sea of blue.
Nor
did I know before,
a sea breathes in and out
upon a shore.

Lovely shot and the poem is just right. I watched waves and light like this just last night.
This is beautiful.
Thank you, Kay and Danielle.
Yesterday, “gamboled.” Today “the sea breathes in and out upon a shore.” If I read your blog much more, I am going to feel inadequate about my blog’s prose.
The six headless wonders were in front of a store called Mishy and David’s Hip Hop Shop. Honest.
Love to see footsteps in the sand Ali, this is a very calming serene image.
