The lighthouse keeper’s home is a private residence – there are signs everywhere, on the driveway, on the front door, by the side door, along the fenced-off patio area. And yet, while I took this photo from the beach, an older fellow walked straight up the driveway past the car and into the yard so he could get a better view of the lighthouse. I guess the notion of privacy is just a bothersome detail from where he was standing.
